About Sparrow’s Promise

Sparrow’s Promise is a faith-based organization that strives to meet the ever-present demand for hope in the lives of children and families.

From our beginnings in 1974, Sparrow’s Promise has provided hope for children and families. We work to support foster families, provide comfortable spaces for families to reconnect and a place of rest for children entering care.

In Matthew 10, God speaks to the value and promise He gives to the sparrow and how much greater our value is in Him. This is the structure behind the work at Sparrow’s Promise. We are dedicated to sharing the Lord knows each of our circumstances, He cares about every detail and He promises to provide. In these promises, we find hope.

Sparrow’s Promise takes a “Knot Approach” to our services of hope. We work together to care, advocate, and restore children and families.

Safe Haven
Safe Haven
Sometimes when a child is pulled into care, a foster home is not available at once. This is a place of comfort and security for those children. Safe Haven readily provides food, a shower, a change of clothes and rest as children begin a time of uncertainty.

“The family that child was born into was the family who God created for them and I really believe that if at all possible, that child should return to their family.”
