Book a space for family time.
Home-like rooms, a full kitchen, and a playground where children and parents can reconnect. Choose a space and visit length below to see open times.
Before you book
- Family visits are arranged through DCFS as supervised family time.
- Visits run 9 AM to 7 PM. 10 AM to 2 PM fills first, so earlier or later times are easier to get.
- Visits are booked in 2 or 4 hour blocks.
- We need to know you are coming. Please try to book 24 hrs in advance. However, some same-day blocks may be available.

As close to home as possible.
Named for a longtime friend and volunteer, the Beverly Ford Visit Center gives families cozy rooms for real conversation, a kitchen to cook and share a meal, and a playground where kids can just be kids. Every detail is meant to help families reconnect in a place that feels safe.
Unite · Family Advocate Case Manager
Walking with families toward home.
Every family goes through seasons that are hard to carry alone. Our Family Advocate Case Manager walks alongside parents as they work their case plan, helping them set clear goals, connect with practical resources, and take the next step, so they can be reunited with their children.
For families who aren’t involved with DCFS, that same support can help keep children safely at home and out of care in the first place. We show up before, during, and after crisis.
We partner with the 10:33 Initiative and local churches so no parent has to do this work alone. It’s not about rescue. It’s about walking beside a family until they’re standing on their own.
How we help
- Support working a case plan, one goal at a time
- Connections to practical resources and needs
- Encouragement during family time at the Visit Center
- Support for families before a crisis, to help prevent removal
- A partner from the 10:33 Initiative and the local church
